Replacing Oxygen Sensor

On cars with engine code 9A, the oxygen sensor is located in the front of the catalytic converter housing. To replace the oxygen sensor, disconnect the oxygen sensor harness connector and use a wrench on the hex portion of the sensor housing. Apply an anti-seize compound to the threads of the new sensor. Install the sensor, torque to 50 Nm (37 ft. lb.), and reconnect the harness connector.

CAUTION-

Do not let anti-seize compound come into contact with the slit portion of the sensor body.
